Home Insurance Inspection Services

  • Wind Mitigation

A Wind Mitigation Inspection is performed to determine the ability of a home to withstand damage due to high winds and flying debris. Wind mitigation inspectors assess risk factors, including the home’s location, and evaluation of certain construction features that have been shown to reduce losses in hurricanes.

These wind resistant construction features are compiled on a Florida Standardized Insurance Form (1802 Report) along with supporting documentation which is submitted to your insurance company for the purpose of reducing your homeowner’s insurance premium.

Florida Statute 627.711 requires your insurance company to provide you with discounts based on the findings and your submission of a Standardized Wind Mitigation Report.

  • 4 Point Inspection

If your home is 25 years old or older your insurance company may require a 4 point inspection.

This inspection focuses on the 4 critical areas of the property. We’ll evaluate the electrical system, plumbing system, HVAC systems, and the roof system. These areas are integral to the home’s capacity to serve as a safe and functional living space.

*This service is not a substitute for a comprehensive home inspection.

Home Owners Inspection Services

  • Pre-Listing Home Inspection

Our intention during a Pre-Listing Inspection is to provide the seller of a home with a better understanding of what condition that home is currently in before a listing is created.

This may lead to the discovery of areas in need of repair that can be addressed before the home is shown. The seller can then handle the repairs before they are presented in negotiations.

It also gives home sellers a chance to ensure the negotiation of inspection items goes smoothly by facilitating improved communication with prospective buyers.

  • Home Maintenance Inspection

This inspection service will provide you with detailed insights into your home’s current maintenance issues—while also indicating areas that could necessitate routine maintenance in the months ahead.

We’ll thoroughly investigate the condition of the accessible area of the home, giving you a full report of our findings that will include specific recommendations for prioritizing your homes maintenance needs.

  • Full Infrared Thermography Inspection

For this inspection service, we’ll use our specialized infrared camera to investigate each accessible area of the home.

By carefully analyzing the infrared output, we’ll be able to identify potential issues related to moisture intrusion, plumbing leaks, electrical safety, and energy loss due to poor insulation or other structural deficiencies.
